Bedroom Sales Executive Part-time; Permanent Hours: 20 hours/5 days per week/9.00am - 1.00pm Salary: £18,880 (£35,401 FTE) per annum The Role The Conference & Events Team invites applicants fora part-time role of Bedroom Sales Executive . The successful applicant will sell the newly refurbished bedroom portfolio of Gonville & Caius College specifically during the summer months and to ensure 70% occupancy rates during the Easter and Christmas Vacation Periods. The bedroom areas include West Road Stephen Hawking Building, Harvey Court, K Block, Springfield, Old Courts Aston Webb, Murray Easton, Rose Crescent The role will primarily support the Conference & Events Team. This department is responsible for generating between £520,000 and £720,000 in bedroom sales outside of term time, including summer schools and leisure business. The team works collaboratively with a range of internal departments to ensure all events are delivered to a high standard, providing a positive and professionally managed experience for clients and guests. This is a permanent part-time role, working 20 hours per week; Monday Friday (9.00am 1.00pm). The salary for this position is £18,880 per annum (£35,401 FTE). Why work at Caius? An fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategically minded Head of IT and Digital, to lead an IT Team in what will be multi-year transformation programme within a large, complex organisation. This will be an interim role, expected to be initially contracted for 9 to 12 months, with a range of challenges, but boiling down to supporting an organisation to work their way through an enterprise-wide transformation programme.
