Role: QSHE Coordinator Location: Stockport / Greater Manchester / Cheshire Industry: Manufacturing / Process Environment Salary: Up to £30k - £35k per annum, depending on experience Benefits: 20 days holidays (rising to 25) plus bank holidays, standard contributory pension, death in service Working hours: 39 hr week (early finish on a Friday) Reporting to: Compliance Manager The client Our client is a leading UK manufacturing organisation, who supply lubricants globally. Still family owned, they have a rich history having operated for over 80 years, supplying critical markets such as marine, agriculture, mining and automotive to name a few. The role They are looking for a proactive QSHE Coordinator to support the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of quality, safety, health, and environmental systems across site. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across multiple functions, driving compliance, supporting audits, and helping to embed a strong safety and quality culture. This opportunity offers a structured progression plan to QHSE Manager. Key day to day responsibilities: • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System, • Manage controlled documents, records, and registers, • Support non-conformance investigations and corrective actions, • Coordinate internal and external audits, • Assist with supplier approvals and evaluations, • Support calibration control and SOP reviews, • Compile data for management review and KPI reporting, Producing regular QSHE reports and updates, • Carry out and review risk assessments, • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns, • Support incident reporting and investigation, • Help maintain inspection records and statutory compliance, • Assist with permit-to-work systems and safe operating controls, • Monitor environmental compliance and site controls, • Support SDS, waste, spill, and chemical inventory records, • Assist with environmental reporting and sustainability initiatives, • Support emergency preparedness and process safety activities, • Promote a strong reporting culture across the site, • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Technical, and Warehouse teams, • Support internal and third-party audit preparation Person Specification: • Previous QSHE experience in manufacturing, chemical, or process environments, • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, • Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting, • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and SharePoint, • Good communication and influencing skills, • Hands-on, proactive, and confident working in a busy operational setting Qualifications: • IOSH Managing Safely essential, • NEBOSH Certificate desirable, • Internal Auditor training desirable, • Experience with COSHH, DSEAR, REACH, or product compliance desirable Interested?
