Do you have experience or qualifications in Reliability engineering?As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our people across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering Team, based at our Brackley site.There is an opportunity for the role to be undertaken by engineering graduates as well as experienced professionals.As a Reliability Engineer, you’ll be working Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00What will you be doing as a Reliability Engineer at Avara?As a Reliability Engineer you’ll have Engineering responsibility for an area within the operational environment as the Reliability Engineer. Monitoring equipment downtime, analysing trends to drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives and projectsWhat will your key responsibilities as a Reliability Engineer include?Reliability/Asset Care Manager, responsible for all equipment in an areaMaintain a high level of reliability and availability of factory equipment through an effective planned maintenance regimeResponsible for the gathering and analysis of equipment efficiency and downtime in order to drive continuous improvement initiativesRaising of Planned Maintenance or reactive maintenance jobs for respective areaReview of all completed job sheets in respective areaProduction of downtime data for weekly meetingsLead and support installation and capital projectsCommunicate and collaborate with other colleagues, suppliers and contractorsUnderstanding of engineering and operational KPI’s and be able to identify areas for improvementInteract with on-shift engineers and other site engineering teams to resolve challenging equipment problemsSupport the Site Principal Engineer and engineering peers to develop robust weekly and monthly maintenance plans that improve asset availability and equipment performanceCoordinate OEM engineer service visits with production and planning teams and scheduling further work that arises from those inspectionsOversee equipment calibrations and complete and review PUWER assessments to maintain equipment complianceWhat you’ll need to be successful:EssentialEngineering Qualification above L3 (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, HND/HNC or L3 engineering qualification may be considered dependent on experience)Experience gained from an Engineering Maintenance environmentSelf-motivated attitude with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a timeline-driven environmentGood interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work individually or as part of a teamAbility to problem solveStrong Analytical skillsGood IT abilityDesirableKnowledge of CMMS system (Mainsaver/Spidex)CAD experienceExperience in managing projectsOn site contractor managementThe benefits of working for Avara Foods:As a Reliability Engineer you will enjoy a secure, supportive and progressive working environment, where your contribution and achievements will be recognised and rewarded.We offer comprehensive training as well as continuous development as you build your long-term career with us.
