The Role This is an opportunity to take a leading role in a brand new food concept within Padium, Cardiff. As Head Chef, youll help shape, build, and run the kitchen from day one, working closely with the founder and management to develop the menu, while taking ownership of day-to-day operations and execution. What Youll Be Doing Collaborating with the founder and management to design and launch Padiums food offering - brunch, light bites, grab-and-go, and performance focused dishes Helping create a menu that is fresh, high-quality, efficient, and commercially strong Running day to day kitchen operations with full accountability Managing stock, ordering, supplier relationships, and gross profit Setting up kitchen systems, prep structures, and workflows Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and safety standards Working closely with management to align food with events, members, and club activity What Were Looking For Experience in a fast paced kitchen environment Strong understanding of food cost control and kitchen organisation A hands-on, self-starting mindset - comfortable taking ownership Creativity, with the ability to collaborate and take direction A passion for fresh, modern food Interest in sport, fitness, or performance nutrition (a strong advantage) The Opportunity Youll have real influence from day one, helping shape the food offering while building and running the kitchen as it grows.
