Join a collaborative, customer-focused business where ideas are valued, success is shared, and you'll have the opportunity to help shape what's next. \n \n The Role: \n At En Route, we're looking for a Research & Insight Executive to support the development and the delivery of primary and secondary research across the business, with a strong focus on quantitative research and data analysis. The role will be responsible for analysing consumer, market and performance data, and translating this into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making. \n \n Working closely with the Head of Customer Strategy, Insight and Intelligence, the role will also support qualitative research projects and contribute to the continued development of the function, with the opportunity to grow into independently managing research over time. \n \n Accountabilities: \n 1.Quantitative Research Delivery \n\n • Design, launch and manage online surveys using approved research platforms.\n, • Support the delivery of primary research projects aligned to business priorities.\n, • Ensure data collection is accurate, structured and aligned to research objectives.\n\n \n 2.Insight Analysis & Storytelling \n\n • Analyse research data using Excel and research tools.\n, • Identify the key findings, trends and implications.\n, • Translate data into clear insight summaries and recommendations.\n, • Create charts, visuals and slides to support insight communication.\n, • Support the development of insight outputs that identify commercial opportunities and “where to win” recommendations.\n\n \n 3.Market & Category Insight \n\n • Conduct secondary research into passenger behaviour, airline food trends and competitor activity.\n, • Support airline menu benchmarking and competitor analysis.\n, • Identify product gaps, trends and growth opportunities across categories and accounts.\n, • Support category deep dives for NPD, Commercial and Procurement teams.\n\n \n 4.Research Project Support \n\n • Support the design and execution of research projects\n, • Draft screeners, questionnaires and discussion guides\n, • Assist in the preparation and observation of qualitative research (focus groups, hall tests).\n, • Support project coordination, timelines and project delivery.\n\n \n 5.Research Framework / Operations \n\n • Maintain research trackers and project documentation.\n, • Support the management of research tools and platforms.\n, • Organise research outputs and maintain insight library.\n, • Ensure consistency in research templates and reporting.\n\n \n Focus on People \n\n • Collaborate with other functions to align R&I efforts with wider business goals.\n, • Build relationships with group colleagues and customers to effectively position R&I\n\n \n Practical & Technical Knowledge: \n\n • Experience in quantitative research and survey design.\n, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify insights.\n, • Comfortable working with Excel and large data sets.\n, • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight.\n\n \n Qualifications & Experience: \n\n • MRS (Market Research Society) certification or working towards it is desirable.\n, • Strong attention to detail and structured thinking.\n, • Interest in consumer behaviour and market trends.\n, • Clear written and verbal communication.\n, • Ability to present findings in a simple and engaging way.\n, • Curious and proactive.\n, • Strong interest in consumer behaviour and food & beverage trends.\n, • Interest in the airline, travel or hospitality industry is desirable\n, • Willingness to learn and develop across both quantitative and qualitative research.\n\n \n We are committed to creating an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best.
