Deliver value. \n \n \n \n \n JOB TITLE: INTERNATIONAL TAX ACCOUNTANT \n \n \n \n \n This position is a maternity cover on a fixed term contract of 8 months based in Aberdeen. \n \n \n \n \n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \n \n \n \n\n • Preparation of UAE corporate tax and VAT returns, ensuring consistent high-quality delivery and timely submissions.\n, • Collate/prepare data required to prepare various tax returns throughout African regions, eg. WHT and STR returns.\n, • Support the wider team in arranging payment of tax liabilities, throughout various territories, on a timely basis.\n, • Preparation of divisional tax reporting on TRCS and accounting and statutory accounts tax disclosures.\n, • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.\n, • Adhere to Company Tax strategy and policy.\n, • Responsible for drafting tax policies and standards, as appropriate.\n, • Liaise with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of returns.\n, • Oversight in other overseas territories, for example but not limited to, Thailand, Libya, India and Russia.\n, • Support Tax Team with ensuring compliance with global transfer pricing policies and supply requested information.\n, • Ensure VAT Control schedules are completed for all material overseas contracts.\n, • Keep the business up to date with developments in tax legislation and government initiatives.\n, • Liaison with tax advisors as appropriate.\n, • Act as central point of review and control for any systems changes impacting UAE and African taxes.\n, • Continuous review of processes to identify opportunities for improvements.\n, • Build relationships with operations, Commercial and HR to ensure they seek tax advice where required.\n\n
