    VIP Event Staff Required – Private Corporate Event 📍 Location: Private Corporate Venue, Southampton 📅 Date: Wednesday 16th September 2026 ⏰ Time: 4:30pm – 9:30pm 💷 Pay: £18–£19 per hour 👔 Dress Code: White shirt, black trousers & black tie We are looking for high-quality, experienced event staff to work at an exclusive VIP private corporate event. The role will involve providing a professional and attentive service to VIP guests, including serving drinks and canapés and assisting with the smooth running of the event. 👤 We’re looking for: • Previous experience as a waiter, event staff member, hospitality professional or similar, • Experience working in corporate, private, VIP or high-end events is highly desirable, • Excellent presentation and communication skills, • Friendly, professional and confident manner, • Strong attention to detail, • Able to provide a polished and discreet service to VIP guests, • Reliable and punctual 🍾 Duties will include: • Serving drinks and canapés to guests, • Welcoming and assisting VIP attendees, • Maintaining a professional and well-presented service, • Clearing and resetting areas as required, • Supporting the wider event team throughout the evening ⚠️ Availability for the full shift on Wednesday 16th September, 4:30pm–9:30pm, is essential.     Position Overview We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery, loading, and unloading of goods using a lorry‑mounted crane (HIAB). This role requires a professional driver with strong awareness of transport regulations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple delivery sites. Key Responsibilities • Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and in line with UK road transport legislation., • Complete multi‑drop deliveries to construction sites, commercial premises, and residential locations., • Carry out daily vehicle checks, defect reporting, and ensure the vehicle is maintained to DVSA standards., • Secure loads correctly using appropriate restraints and follow all site safety protocols., • Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, and dispatch teams., • Maintain accurate delivery records, PODs, and route logs., • Follow all company policies relating to health & safety, manual handling, and environmental standards., • Represent the company positively as a frontline member of the logistics team.
