About the context The D365 Programme is a multi-year global transformation Programme in Finance & Operations implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 across all regions. It aims to harmonise multiple regional ERPs existing globally, while respecting divisional operating models and business specificities. It will create a standardized, single global core ERP model, based on the SaaS Microsoft D365 F&O platform. AI and intelligent automation have become central pillars of the testing and quality strategy — enabling faster test preparation, more predictable execution, higher coverage, and significant cost optimisation across global and regional deployments. Your role We are seeking a forward-looking D365 Test Manager who will lead the Programme's global testing with a strong bias toward AI adoption, automation, and intelligent quality assurance. Although operating as a solo Test Manager, you will work closely with System Integrator (SI) partners who bring specialised automation capabilities, including AI-driven script generation, automated execution, and accelerator-based testing services. Your role is to ensure these partners deliver maximum value, quality, and efficiency — especially through automation that reduces manual effort and lowers testing cost. You will own the global testing framework, govern SAT and Regression Testing, and enable regions to execute SIT/UAT/OAT successfully — all while embedding AI into the testing lifecycle and continuously identifying opportunities for automation across scenarios, processes, and releases. Partner Management – With an Automation-Focused Ecosystem ▪ Collaborate with SI partners who provide automation-led scripting and execution services. ▪ Ensure partners maximise AI accelerators and automation toolkits. ▪ Challenge estimates and validate automation opportunities.▪ Drive accountability for quality, automation throughput, and SLA adherence. Delivery Assurance & Quality Governance ▪ Maintain and evolve the global testing governance framework. ▪ Ensure AI-supported traceability and automated evidence. ▪ Monitor risks and defects with AI-generated insights. Testing Strategy & Global Governance (AI-Enabled) ▪ Own global testing strategy across all testing phases. ▪ Maintain AI-enhanced templates, playbooks, and ADO structures. ▪ Improve the framework using AI release insights. Regional Enablement – Regions Execute, You Govern & Guide ▪ Provide AI-supported guidance and readiness standards. ▪ Support regions during SIT/UAT/OAT and ensure adoption of automation where valuable. Regression Testing Ownership – AI-Powered Two-Layer Model ▪ Govern Global Regression (RT1) and support Regional Regression (RT2). ▪ Expand automated regression coverage. ▪ Use AI analytics to maintain and optimise the regression suite. Test Automation – Core Pillar of the Role ▪ Lead automation strategy and roadmap. ▪ Scale automated regression for Platform Updates and global releases. ▪ Integrate automated tests into pipelines. ▪ Increase automation coverage every release.
