MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN\n Location: LeedsSalary: £50,000Shift: Days and Nights \n We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing business in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical maintenance professional to join a stable site where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of production machinery and site services. Job Role\n As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy manufacturing environment. You will be working on a range of automated production machinery and electrical systems, diagnosing faults and ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard. \n The role will involve electrical fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, continuous improvement and supporting the ongoing reliability of the site. \n Non-Negotiable Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician: \n\n • Completed a recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.\n, • Strong electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial or automated environment.\n, • Experience with electrical fault finding and maintenance of industrial machinery.\n, • Comfortable working a days and nights shift pattern.\n, • Able to work independently and respond effectively to breakdowns.\n\n Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician: \n\n • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.\n, • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.\n, • Experience with fault finding on industrial electrical systems.\n, • Good understanding of electrical control systems.\n, • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.\n, • Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\n Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician: \n\n • Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery.\n, • Knowledge of automation and control systems.\n, • Experience with continuous improvement and root cause analysis.\n, • Additional mechanical maintenance experience would be advantageous.\n\n This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join a successful manufacturing business, offering a salary of £50,000, a days and nights shift pattern and the opportunity to work within a modern industrial environment. \n If you are interested please contact Joe McAuliffe at Pioneer Selection. \n Alternatively, if you know someone who may be interested in this role, we offer a referral scheme for successful recommendations.
