As a Sales and Reservation Executive, you'll be responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient running of the reservations and sales function of the business. You will be responsible for responding to reservation enquiries via telephone and email, communicating with the venue regarding bookings, cancellations and special requests, and providing exceptional service to all guests you come into contact with. **What you'll be doing: ++ Enquiries++ Efficiently respond to reservation enquiries via telephone and email Ensure all group telephone calls are managed politely and efficiently, ascertaining, and accurately meeting the caller's needs. Manage booking cancellations and reconfirmations. Working and co-operating with colleagues to always enhance the guest experience. Follow the correct procedure for confirming bookings, including deposits, card details, pre orders of food and drink, issuing terms and conditions. Provide accurate information regarding venue product offering (menus, packages, terms, and conditions) so as best to inform the guest and guide them to a suitable package, upselling at all points. Understands that the guest experience begins at enquiry and ensures all guests are dealt with in line with service standards of Incipio Group's policies and procedures. Have key knowledge of the products available, events being advertised and how to accommodate dietary requirements. ++Proactive Sales++ Support the Sales & Reservations Manager and wider team with proactive sales initiatives. Calling potential guests through warm leads from our website. Always going the extra mile and ensuring we always use our insight to produce more sales. Take and process orders in an accurate manner. Managing call backs and potential sales. Identifying and communicating all sales leads of large bookings to the Group Sales & Reservations Manager. Be motivated and proven to maximise selling opportunities by adding guest value at every opportunity, promoting the venue facilities. Conduct local business outreach programs, proactively contacting local businesses to invite into the venues. Maximise and grow the pre-booked sales of the venue through pro-active methods and the conversion of incoming enquiries. Co-operate with other departments to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs. To develop relationships with local clients, guests and direct to ensure a strong base of new and regular repeat business. Ensure that cross-selling is implemented to maximise sales opportunities for the group. Achieve your inbound and outbound sales targets ++Communication++ Resolve guest issues quickly and decisively. About You We are looking for an adaptable, skilled, and passionate Sous Chef to join our production kitchen team on a Temp-to-Perm basis. The Role As General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of The Wooden Cross. You will lead the team, manage service standards, control costs, grow sales and help create a welcoming pub that becomes a key part of the local community. The ideal candidate will be confident running a busy wet-led pub, have strong cellar and stock control experience, and be comfortable managing sport, events, social media, staff development and local marketing.
