hackajob is collaborating with Next Ltd to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. \n The Role: \n We are looking for an In-Store Visual Merchandiser to join our VM Field Team on a 12 MONTH FTC CONTRACT , based in and responsible for the following stores: \n BIRMINGHAM BULLRING & DUDLEY MERRYHILL - MENSWEAR \n As an In-Store Visual Merchandiser you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a visually inspiring shopping environment for the NEXT customer focusing specifically on MENSWEAR. You will implement Head Office VM Guidelines to a high level, supporting & developing store teams along the way. \n We are looking for someone with a creative eye and the ability to adapt layout guidelines to individual store needs and differing stock packages, whilst maintaining company standards. \n What You'll Take On: \n Managing Store Layouts \n\n • To deliver the best visual merchandising standards at all times, within your designated stores.\n, • Adapting the layouts to suit individual store's layouts and stock package.\n, • Ensure fixtures / layouts & customer navigation are maintained.\n, • Analyse space management and best sellers to support layout decisions.\n, • Planning & communicating phase changes onto store planograms.\n, • Supporting phase change shifts in your designated stores.\n, • Ensuring all marketing, graphics & props are correct and relevant.\n\n Stock Management \n\n • Supporting store compliance reports. Daily New Lines, Range Plans etc\n, • Ensuring stock rotation and replenishment to maximise sales.\n, • To maintain a safe working environment for customers and colleagues by complying to store H&S guidelines.\n\n Communication \n\n • Working alongside & forging good working relationships with the in-store staff & managers.\n, • Agreeing priorities on a regular basis with the National VM Field Team Manager and store manager.\n, • Feeding back phase / stock issues to line managers and the mock shop teams.\n, • Working in conjunction with the in store display team.\n, • Controlling, managing and ordering marketing items where necessary.\n, • Attend Head Office monthly for phase change updates to be communicated.\n\n What You'll Bring: \n\n • A genuine flare and interest in visual merchandising, with a proven track record.\n, • The ability to provide excellent service to both customers and colleagues.\n, • A personal drive, motivation and resilience.\n, • Good analytical, planning and time management skills.\n, • Ability to learn quickly and react in fast moving environments.\n, • Be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.\n, • The ability to work on your own initiative, independently or as part of a group.\n, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.\n, • Can perform general manual handling duties and tasks, including lifting, carrying, using ladders etc\n, • Hold a full UK driving licence.\n, • Ability to travel to other stores / locations where required.\n\n #LI-CG1 #LI-Onsite
