Combining world-class science with cutting-edge engineering, our client is transforming carbon-based materials into high-value, sustainable products. \n \n As the business enters an exciting phase of growth and commercial scale-up, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineering Programme Manager to help drive the successful delivery of complex engineering programmes. \n \n The role: \n This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Programme Manager who enjoys bringing structure, pace, and accountability to technically complex projects. Working across engineering, operations, commercial, and supply chain teams, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering programmes.\n, • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, commercial, and supply chain.\n, • Develop and maintain integrated programme plans and a Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).\n, • Manage programme schedules, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and recovery plans.\n, • Oversee supplier and EPC contractor performance, ensuring commercial and contractual objectives are achieved.\n, • Provide clear programme reporting and strategic updates to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.\n, • Establish effective programme governance, controls, and reporting processes.\n\n \n Requirements: \n\n • Significant programme management experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or infrastructure.\n, • A proven track record of delivering or recovering complex engineering programmes.\n, • Strong programme planning, scheduling, governance, risk, and resource management skills.\n, • Experience managing EPC contracts or major engineering suppliers.\n, • The ability to lead multidisciplinary technical, operational, and commercial teams.\n, • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\n, • Experience working within a scale-up, R&D, or innovation-led environment would be highly advantageous.\n
