Cost Clerk / Project Administrator A46 Infrastructure ProjectLocation: Stoneleigh, WarwickshireSalary: £24,800£32,000 dependent on experienceContract: Six-month fixed-term contractHours: Full-timeBenefits: Pension contributions of up to 10%, life assurance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional employee benefitsThe OpportunityWere recruiting a Cost Clerk / Project Administrator to join the site-based delivery team working on a major A46 highways infrastructure project near Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.This is a six-month fixed-term contract offering the opportunity to support the commercial and operational delivery of a significant civil engineering scheme scheduled for completion towards the end of 2026.The project involves major improvements to the A46 junction, including a new bridge and redesigned slip roads intended to reduce congestion, improve safety and provide additional capacity for future growth.Youll work closely with the Commercial Manager, Quantity Surveyor and operational teams, ensuring that project costs are captured accurately and that the team receives reliable administrative and commercial support.The RoleThis is a varied position combining cost administration, project reporting and general site-office support. Your responsibilities will include:Recording and validating labour, plant, equipment and subcontractor costsRaising purchase orders and processing goods receiptsSupporting invoice processing and resolving cost queriesMaintaining accurate commercial records, databases and project documentationProviding information for project reporting, forecasting and cost controlAssisting with monthly reporting and cost value reconciliationsSupporting payroll and timesheet administrationLiaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teamsEnsuring records are maintained in line with GDPR and company proceduresProviding wider administrative support to help the site office run efficientlyAbout YouYoull ideally have previous experience as a Cost Clerk, Project Administrator, Commercial Administrator, Site Administrator or in a similar support role within construction, civil engineering, highways or infrastructure.Experience of cost capture, purchase orders, goods receipting and invoice processing would be particularly valuable.
