Job summaryRole Summary This role involves assessing , diagnosis, and ongoing care of individuals ( children & adults) with ADHD and/or autism You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred assessments, contribute to diagnostic decisions, and support treatment planning. The role combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, ensuring patients feel understood, safe, and supported throughout their journey. You will also contribute to service development, maintain accurate clinical records, and work in line with relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.Main duties of the jobMain Duties of the Role undertake comprehensive assessments for adhd and or autism in line with NICE and clinic protocols complete detailed clinical histories including developmental mental health and risk assessments use standardised assessment tools and diagnostic frameworks to inform clinical decision making assess for coexisting conditions including mental health substance misuse and neurodevelopmental differences identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with policy and statutory requirements formulate diagnostic outcomes and provide clear evidence based rationales for decisions communicate assessment outcomes to patients in a clear sensitive and supportive manner produce high quality clinical reports within agreed timeframes that meet professional and regulatory standards contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions and decision making where required refer or signpost patients to appropriate services including post diagnostic support and treatment pathways. maintain accurate timely and confidential clinical records in line with data protection requirements work in line with CQC standards clinical governance frameworks and organisational policies participate in clinical supervision reflective practice and ongoing professional development contribute to service development audit and quality improvement activities manage own caseload effectively ensuring safe and timely delivery of careAbout usAbout Us Montrose Health Group LtdMontrose Health Group Ltd is a CQC-regulated specialist provider of addictions and neurodevelopmental services based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
