Psychotherapist (Children’s Trauma) \n \n Location: North Lincolnshire, \n Reporting to: Senior Psychotherapist \n Accountable to: Clinical Director \n About the Role \n We are seeking a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist to join our team, supporting children, young people and families affected by trauma and complex needs. \n The role involves managing a caseload and delivering therapeutic assessments, interventions and reviews. You will work collaboratively with young people, families, schools and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive outcomes and ensure a safe, trauma-informed approach. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Manage a caseload of children, young people and families.\n, • Complete therapeutic assessments and develop individual intervention plans.\n, • Deliver 1:1 and group therapeutic interventions.\n, • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools and other professionals.\n, • Attend and contribute to multi-agency and review meetings.\n, • Provide professional consultation, training and support where appropriate.\n, • Complete professional reports, including progress, discharge and EHCP reports.\n, • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical and case records.\n, • Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.\n, • Participate in supervision, CPD, team meetings and service development.\n, • Promote a trauma-informed, inclusive and child-centred environment.\n\n \n About You \n You will have: \n\n • A recognised diploma/qualification in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Social Work, Family Support or a related therapeutic discipline.\n, • Professional membership with an appropriate governing or accredited body.\n, • Experience working therapeutically with children, young people and families.\n, • Knowledge of trauma, attachment, child development, safeguarding and neurodiversity.\n, • Experience completing therapeutic assessments and professional reports.\n, • Experience of multi-agency working.\n, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n, • Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.\n, • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.\n\n \n Experience within Children’s Services, therapeutic/counselling settings, or trauma-informed practice is highly desirable. \n What We Value \n Our work is guided by Connection, Creativity, Collaboration, Development, Communication and Responsiveness.
