Your responsibilities as Business Development Manager Building and implementing structured sales processes from the ground up, creating a clear and repeatable approach to winning and developing clients. Identifying target markets, prospective clients and opportunities, then turning them into an actionable pipeline. Developing strategies for prospecting, relationship development, proposals, follow-up and conversion. Building strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements and recommending appropriate solutions. Creating compelling proposals and working with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from initial sale through to service delivery. Monitoring market and competitor activity, using insight and performance information to continually refine the sales approach. What were looking for in a Business Development Manager Direct, demonstrable experience of building and implementing sales processes, systems or ways of working from the ground up. A proven track record of generating new clients, developing pipelines and managing the full sales cycle. Experience creating and executing commercial growth strategies rather than solely working within established processes. Strong client relationship, negotiation, proposal development and influencing skills, ideally gained within consultancy or professional services. Experience mentoring, developing or providing sales guidance to colleagues. This is a full-time, office-based position in Hull.
