Summary A leading manufacturer of commercial food processing equipment is seeking a Sales Representative to join its New Jersey office. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing customer accounts within the assigned territory. The role focuses on introducing commercial food processing equipment to prospective customers while providing outstanding account management and after-sales support to existing clients. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven sales role. The ideal candidate understands the foodservice industry, is comfortable demonstrating equipment, and takes pride in building long-term customer partnerships. Responsibilities • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for commercial food processing equipment., • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention., • Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations, including live equipment demonstrations at the company showroom and customer sites., • Prepare quotes, proposals, and equipment recommendations tailored to each customer's operation and volume., • Follow up on inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads in a timely, professional manner., • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer visits (frequent travel required, including overnight)., • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer communications in CRM., • Coordinate with service and technical teams to ensure smooth installation, training, and after-sales support., • Provide market feedback to management on customer needs, competitive activity, and product opportunities. Requirements Required • Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales and account management experience, preferably in foodservice equipment, restaurant equipment/supplies, or restaurant-related sales., • Fluent English (spoken and written) — required., • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets., • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills., • Self-starter who can manage a territory and pipeline independently., • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)., • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, demonstrations, and trade shows., • Ability to lift and assist with equipment during demonstrations as needed. Preferred • Second language is a strong plus — preferably Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, or Burmese., • Technical understanding of equipment or machinery., • Experience selling capital equipment or working with supermarket/retail foodservice programs., • Knowledge of sushi operations, commissary production, or Asian foodservice concepts., • Existing relationships within the foodservice or supermarket industry.
