Job Description PERSONAL TRAINER - SMALL GROUP (FULL TIME OR PART TIME) — ALLOY PERSONAL TRAINING Location: 1720 E Warner Rd Suite 3, Tempe AZ 85284 POSITION OVERVIEW At Alloy, we call our trainers Coaches. Our members are adults 40 and over training for strength, capability, and longevity, and getting them there takes a professional who can program, cue, modify on the fly, and build a real relationship, not someone who counts reps. This is a coaching centered role at Alloy Personal Training South Tempe, where you will deliver high quality small group personal training sessions and create a world class member experience. You will be a key part of the studio environment, building strong relationships with members and reinforcing the systems that drive results. We are hiring for both full time and part time. We are looking for the best coach, not the biggest schedule. If you are a strong coach who can only commit to a handful of sessions per week, we still want to talk. If you are looking for a full time career track, this role can grow into a Head Coach designation with expanded responsibility and pay. WHICH TRACK FITS YOU Full Time Coach • 25 to 30 sessions per week plus studio support hours, • Full benefits eligibility, • Career track toward Head Coach and future leadership as the studio expands Part Time Coach • 8 to 20 sessions per week, built around your availability, • Ideal for experienced coaches with other commitments, or coaches building toward full time, • Consistent, reliable weekly schedule required (we build member trust through repetition, not rotation) Tell us in your application which track you are applying for and what your weekly availability looks like. COMPENSATION Full Time • Status: Full time, hourly, • Hourly Rate: Approximately $24 to $28 per hour depending on experience, certification level, and coaching proficiency (equivalent to roughly $50,000 - $58,000 annually), • Bonus Opportunity: Up to $5,000 annually tied to membership and member experience metrics., • Benefits:, • 80 percent employer paid medical, • PTO program, • Optional dental and vision, • Free Alloy membership, • Retail discounts, • Ongoing professional development Part Time • Status: Part time, hourly, • Hourly Rate: Approximately $24 to $28 per hour depending on experience, certification level, and coaching proficiency, • Bonus Opportunity: Prorated based on scheduled hours, • Benefits:, • Free Alloy membership, • Retail discounts, • Ongoing professional development, • Medical, dental, vision, and PTO are available to team members who meet full time hour thresholds CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Coaching, • Deliver high quality, safe, motivating small group training sessions, • Modify movements for members with varying ability levels, • Maintain strong presence, consistent cueing, and professional energy, • Uphold Alloy's coaching and programming standards in every session, • Session volume: 25 to 30 per week (full time) or 8 to 20 per week (part time), • Member Experience Support, • Build strong relationships with members before and after sessions, • Support studio events, challenges, and community building programs, • Conduct member check ins and accountability touchpoints as assigned, • Contribute to a positive, supportive, results driven environment, • Community Engagement, • Provide friendly, helpful communication to members and visitors in line with our service standards, • Strengthen connections with the local community through positive interaction and presence, • Represent the studio at community events, wellness activities, and brand partnership opportunities, • Studio Support, • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment, • Ensure equipment is prepared and reset for every session, • Follow established studio systems and procedures, • Execute assigned tasks with accuracy and consistency Note: community engagement and studio support responsibilities scale with scheduled hours. Part time coaches are expected to own the floor and the member relationship. Broader project and event ownership sits with the full time team. ROLE SCOPE AND GROWTH • The Director of Training owns member sales, sales strategy, and operational decisions, so you can stay focused on the training floor, • Coaches focus on coaching excellence, member engagement, and community connection, • Head Coach is an earned designation for a full time coach who demonstrates consistent excellence, leadership with peers, and ownership of studio standards, • Part time coaches who want to move to full time will get first consideration as hours open, • Additional responsibilities may be added based on trust, capability, and studio needs QUALIFICATIONS • Nationally recognized personal training certification or degree in Exercise Science, • 2 to 5 years coaching experience (small group preferred), • Strong technical knowledge of movement, cueing, and exercise progression, • Ability to work confidently with clients ages 40 to 75, • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, • Availability during peak studio hours (early morning, late afternoon, and Saturday morning).
