Reporting to the Lead Exhibits Fabricator, the Assistant Exhibits Fabricator builds and installs exhibit cases, barriers, panels, pedestals, and supporting exhibition elements from a variety of materials including but not limited to woods, papers, plastics, glass, fabrics, foams, and metals. This individual is Self-sufficient and capable of managing projects with minimal supervision with strong ability to problem solve and adapt fabrication methods as needed based on project demands. Responsibilities include the following: • Construct and install museum exhibit structures including but not limited to, walls, floors, case work, text panels, photographic murals, vinyl wall treatments, and artifact mounts using a range of materials and tools/equipment. Job Description Assistant Project Manager The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager and the project team with executing a project and helps manage all subcontractors, vendors, and professionals towards successful completion relative to budget and schedule goals. SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF ROLE The Development Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to El Museo del Barrio's Institutional Advancement department and serves as the organizational backbone of a busy fundraising team. Reporting to the Head of Institutional Advancement, the Development Assistant maintains the donor database, manages departmental calendars and scheduling, keeps files and records in order, and supports fundraising events and donor cultivation.
