About the Facility The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Utica provides long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services to our community. Our on-site salon offers hair care services to residents in a safe, welcoming environment. Position Summary We are seeking a licensed Hairdresser to provide professional hair services to residents. This role allows you to manage your own schedule, set your own rates, and bring your skills to a supportive, senior-focused community. Key Responsibilities Provide haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, and treatments Ensure resident safety and comfort during services Maintain a clean and organized work area according to health standards Communicate with residents and families to understand hair care preferences Maintain professional tools and supplies Handle client payments and invoicing independently Qualifications Licensed Hairdresser in New York State Professional liability insurance as required for independent contractors Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Experience with seniors is a plus, but not required Why This Role is Unique Access to a pool of up to 220 residents in one location Flexible schedule (e.g., choose specific days like Wednesdays & Saturdays) Set your own service rates On-site salon with client booking provided How to Apply Submit your resume online.
