Shift Leaders are generally responsible for coaching Crew Members throughout their shift to execute operational Brand standards and deliver a great and friendly guest experience. They set goals, provide job assignments, and motivate others, celebrating successes and providing timely feedback. Responsibilities Include • Work in a Team Environment, • Support a respectful team environment, • Communicate shift priorities, goals and results with team members, • Support the training of crew members as requested, • Provide coaching and feedback to crew members, • Maintain Operational Excellence, • Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant, • Resolve guest issues, • Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed, • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with local and state laws, • Drive Profitability, • Drive sales goals and results, • Execute restaurant standards and marketing initiatives, • Manage cash over/short during shift, • Ensure all products are prepared according to Brand standards Skills/Qualifications • Fluent in English, • Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience, • Math and writing skills, • Basic computer skills, • High School diploma or equivalent, preferred Competencies • Guest Focus, • Understands and exceeds guest expectations, needs and requirements, • Develops and maintains guest relationships, • Displays a sense of urgency with guests, • Seeks ways to improve guest satisfaction; asks questions, commits to follow-through, • Resolves guest concerns by following Brand recommended guest recovery process, • Passion for Results, • Sets and maintains high standards for self and others, acts as a role model, • Consistently meets or exceeds goals, • Contributes to the overall team performance; understands how his/her role relates to others, • Problem Solving and Decision Making, • Identifies and resolves issues and problems, • Uses information at hand to make decisions and solve problems; includes others when necessary, • Interpersonal Relationships & Influence, • Develops and maintains relationships with team, • Operates with integrity; demonstrates honesty, treats others with respect, keeps commitments
