Job Description Job Title: Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler Job Description This role assembles and wires electrical and electronic systems, panels, and support structures, installing components, units, sub-assemblies, and wiring using tools such as rivets, bolts, soldering, and micro-welding equipment. You ensure that all electrical assemblies meet quality, safety, and performance standards while working efficiently from schematics, blueprints, and detailed work instructions. Responsibilities • Assemble and wire electrical components, control panels, and subassemblies according to schematics, blueprints, and drawings., • Fabricate electrical sub-assemblies by following detailed work instructions and established procedures., • Install and secure components, units, and assembly casings using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment as required., • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical components and wiring to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications., • Inspect and test wiring systems, circuits, and completed panels to verify proper operation and document test results accurately., • Troubleshoot electrical components and wiring issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions., • Clean parts and assemblies using appropriate cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths to maintain a safe and orderly work area., • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assembly and wiring tasks., • Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines to ensure reliable and consistent electrical assemblies. Skills • Proficiency in electrical wiring and electrical assembly for panels and related systems., • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and detailed drawings., • Hands-on experience with panel wiring and electrical component installation., • Capability to inspect, test, and troubleshoot wiring systems and electrical circuits., • Skill in using hand tools and power tools for electrical and mechanical assembly tasks., • Attention to detail to ensure assemblies meet specifications and quality standards. Work Environment This position operates in a clean manufacturing facility on a first-shift schedule, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There is also the option to work four 10-hour shifts, providing flexibility in scheduling. 2nd and 3rd shift available, too. You work on the shop floor with electrical panels, wiring, and subassemblies, using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and related assembly tools. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and adherence to standard operating procedures while supporting steady, hands-on production work. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
