We are seeking a part-time, seasonal landscaping worker to help plant street trees and gardens and do light construction work. Hours 8:00am – 3:00pm 1-2 days per week. Flexible schedule. $250 daily rate (W2) Must provide your own transportation to job sites in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Bronx Landscaping experience is preferred, but not required. We will train you. Proof of US work authorization required Intermediate English required Must be able to perform physically demanding work including manual excavation and heavy lifting Must be reliable and on time -- very important! WHAT IS THE ROLE? Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales Associate, guarantees consistently high customer experience within the Store per Psycho Bunny’s core values and service standards. HOW WILL YOU DO IT? • You will assist with the store’s visual directives and maintain standards of housekeeping., • You will develop a full understanding of computer systems to ring transactions and perform other functions, such as merchandise transfers and order fulfillment., • You will protect store assets and inventory through awareness of loss prevention procedures and will report any violations to a supervisor., • You will employ an authentic approach to clienteling and building long-term relationships with customers with a focus on building sales., • You will build a highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, conversion and capturing customer phone and e-mail., • You will assist with all other duties as required by store management. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our shop. You will also assist with e-commerce operations and contribute to sales efforts to ensure the success of our business. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events. Provide knowledgeable advice to customers regarding flower selection, care, and arrangement styles. Manage inventory by stocking flowers, plants, and supplies while ensuring freshness and quality. Operate POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately. Assist with e-commerce initiatives by managing online orders and ensuring timely delivery. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, including landscape maintenance of outdoor areas. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences while promoting additional products or services. Utilize retail math skills to track sales trends and manage inventory levels efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience as a Florist or in a related retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of landscape maintenance and gardening is a plus. Proficiency in e-commerce platforms is desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. A passion for flowers, design, and customer service is essential.
