Preferred Qualifications • It would be helpful if you also have:, • FDNY fire and life safety certifications, including F-01, F-07, S-12, S-13, S-95, or willingness to obtain., • Current Certified Pool Operator certification., • Experience with pool operations, filtration systems, chemical readings, mechanical plant systems, or aquatic facility maintenance., • Experience with building automation systems, BMS platforms, commercial fitness facilities, aquatics facilities, schools, recreation centers, nonprofit facilities, or high-traffic public-facing buildings., • Experience coordinating shift handoffs, vendor communication, preventative maintenance, or emergency maintenance response. The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. This schedule is a firm operational requirement and is not negotiable because the role supports evening campus coverage, building operations, pool systems, maintenance response, program continuity, and safe facility operations during assigned hours. The work environment includes mechanical rooms, pool areas, fitness and recreation spaces, common areas, staff areas, building systems spaces, and other active facility environments. The role may involve exposure to noise, humidity, pool chemicals, equipment rooms, tools, active maintenance areas, and urgent facility needs.
