What you'll do: As a full-time floater Optometrist working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., you’ll provide essential coverage across all six practice locations, supporting vacations, leaves of absence, and staffing needs while maintaining continuity of patient care. This role offers variety in your day-to-day work as you care for diverse patient populations, adapt to different practice environments, travel between assigned locations based on scheduling needs, and navigate multiple office workflows or electronic health record systems when applicable. In this full-time floater role, you’ll provide comprehensive optometric care across multiple Reno-Sparks practice locations, performing thorough eye examinations, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions, and helping each patient find visual solutions that support their eye health, lifestyle, and overall experience. The ideal candidate is licensed in Nevada, residency trained, and has at least two years of prior experience, along with the flexibility to adjust to varying patient volumes, team needs, office workflows, and practice environments while staying current on industry trends, new products, and lens technologies.
