Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician II to provide hands-on, on-site IT support across our offices, working alongside our internal IT Team and our managed service provider (MSP) to keep staff productive and systems running smoothly. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on IT work - hardware, account administration, networking basics, and vendor coordination - across multiple physical sites rather than a single desk. Key Responsibilities • Resolve onsite IT tickets in our ticketing system - hardware setup and configuration, printer and peripheral support, minor low-voltage/network cabling, and general desktop/laptop troubleshooting, • Follow up with our MSP on open or escalated tickets to ensure timely resolution; keep ticket notes and status updates clear and current, • Support new hire onboarding and departure offboarding: laptop imaging and setup, Microsoft 365 / Entra ID account provisioning and license assignment, Intune device enrollment, and mobile device setup, coordinating closely with HR, • Provide first line troubleshooting for Windows 11, Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), network connectivity, printers, and VoIP handsets, escalating to the senior staff and MSP as needed, • Assist with day-to-day support of office networking equipment (switches/access points, basic firewall and VPN connectivity issues) under the direction of the senior staff, • Track and manage IT inventory - logging equipment as it's received, deployed, or returned across all office locations, • Participate in vendor calls and help coordinate invoices with Accounts Payable, • Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities, including delivering, setting up, or relocating equipment (including storage/backup devices) at all our office locations, • Support onsite visits related to IT projects, equipment installs, office relocations, and vendor evaluations, • Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support for urgent IT issues, on a rotating basis with the wider IT team Qualifications • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent hands-on experience, personal/home lab projects, or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified) will be considered in place of a degree, • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical operations, • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Windows operating systems, and basic hardware troubleshooting, • Hands-on experience with laptop setup/imaging, user account provisioning (Active Directory and/or Entra ID), and equipment inventory tracking, • Familiarity with a professional ticketing system (Autotask, Jira, or similar) preferred, • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals - Wi-Fi troubleshooting, DHCP/DNS basics, VPN connectivity, • Strong customer service mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills, • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities simultaneously across several office locations, • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50+ pounds as needed, • Willingness to travel regularly between New Jersey and Pennsylvania office locations, • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, • Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend support when required What We Offer We are committed to creating a personal and professional environment where we can build and focus on helping communities through teamwork and support. The estimated salary range for this position will fall between $24 - $34 per hour. The starting salary offered is contingent upon a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience/skillset, educational qualifications, and professional certifications, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
