Job DescriptionJob Title: Restoration TechnicianJob Description This role focuses on supporting residential restoration and remediation projects for homeowners impacted by water, mold, fire, and other property damage. You will assist with emergency response services, demolition, cleanup, drying operations, and restoration activities to help return properties to safe and livable conditions. Our Client provides restoration services throughout New Jersey and specializes in water damage cleanup, mold remediation, and fire restoration. Responsibilities • Assist with emergency response services and help mitigate property damage., • Perform demolition, cleanup, and drying operations effectively., • Conduct restoration activities to return properties to safe and livable conditions., • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively., • Lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday., • Work comfortably in residential homes and active job site environments.Essential Skills, • 1+ years of experience in construction, restoration, demolition, or general labor., • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools., • Experience in performing demolition, cleanup, or material removal., • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday., • Comfortable working in residential homes and active job site environments.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with mold remediation, fire restoration, or emergency services is a plus., • IICRC certifications are a plus, but not required., • Preferred experience in construction, carpentry, drywall, painting, or remodeling., • Experience working directly with homeowners and customers., • Strong communication and problem-solving skills., • Flexibility to assist with emergency response calls when needed.Why Work Here? You will engage in a mix of water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire cleanup, demolition, and repair projects. Expect to work inside both occupied and unoccupied homes, with exposure to construction, restoration, and remediation environments. The role involves using drying equipment, hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment. It is a physically demanding job requiring lifting, carrying, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
