Job Description Advanced G.P.R. Corporation is looking for motivated individuals who want more than a traditional desk job. Our work helps clients identify what is below the surface before they cut, core, drill, trench, excavate, or build. Advanced G.P.R. Corporation is located in South Scottsdale, Arizona, and was founded in 2008. We specialize in ground penetrating radar, concrete scanning, utility locating, subsurface investigation, structural analysis support, and other specialty field services. Our Field Engineers and Technicians work on active job sites, use advanced technology, communicate directly with clients and contractors, and help provide information that impacts real construction decisions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys: Working outdoors and on different job sites Solving problems in real time Learning technical equipment and field methods Working with construction teams, engineers, contractors, and project managers Traveling to different project locations as needed Building a long-term career in a specialized and growing industry Who Should Apply Candidates with education, training, or experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply: Construction Management Construction Engineering Architectural Engineering Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Geology Geography Subsurface Utility Engineering, also known as SUE Construction Technology Structural or Materials Testing Non-Destructive Testing A college degree is helpful, but not always required. We are also interested in candidates who have strong construction knowledge, field experience, technical ability, and the right mindset. Helpful Coursework or Background The following classes, skills, or areas of study may help candidates succeed in this position: Construction Management & Technology Building Construction Methods, Materials, and Equipment Structural Design Circuits Fundamentals of Electromagnetics Structural Mechanics Structure and Properties of Materials Physics Electronics Chemistry Differential Equations Calculus SolidWorks AutoCAD Blueprint Reading Utility Locating Concrete Scanning Subsurface Investigation These courses are not all required, but they can be helpful because of the technical nature of the work we perform every day. Key Responsibilities Operate and learn ground penetrating radar and other non-destructive testing equipment Perform concrete scanning, utility locating, and subsurface investigations Assist with identifying rebar, post-tension cables, conduits, utilities, voids, and other subsurface conditions Collect and document field data accurately Communicate findings clearly with clients, contractors, and internal team members Prepare or assist with field reports and documentation Work safely and professionally on active construction sites Coordinate with project teams to complete work efficiently and accurately Represent Advanced G.P.R. Corporation with professionalism in the field Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is: Reliable and punctual Self-motivated Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to think critically and solve problems Comfortable using technology and field equipment Willing to learn specialized skills Able to communicate clearly with clients and team members Comfortable working on construction sites Safety-minded Interested in long-term career growth Flexible with scheduling, job site locations, and occasional travel Requirements • Comfortable using Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks) and digital tools for reporting, forms, photos, maps, and cloud-based systems., • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, construction management software, CRM systems, Google Workspace, or similar software is preferred., • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record., • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, where permitted by applicable law., • Must be authorized to work in the United States., • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
