Rover pet sitters and dog walkers provide pet care services such as dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, providing companionship, and overnight pet sitting when requested. Workers communicate with pet owners by sending updates and photos and manage their own schedules and service rates through the Rover platform. Earnings are typically equivalent to $15–$25+ per hour, but workers set their own rates and may earn additional income through tips and holiday bookings. We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our crew and bring skill, kindness, and hustle to every exam room, surgery prep, and tail wag. • Keep accurate medical records and help answer client questions, • Prep patients for exams and surgeries, • Administer medications as directed, • Assist with lab testing (blood, fecal, urine, etc.), • Clean and sanitize surgical tools, kennels, and exam areas, • Monitor post-op patients and report any changes, • Safely restrain patients during exams and procedures, • Help educate pet parents on medications, treatments, and care, • Partner with Credentialed Technicians and DVMs to provide top-tier care, • 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, • A love for animals (obviously), with a calm, steady presence, • A great communicator who works well with clients and teammates, • Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, • Cool under pressure and comfortable in a busy hospital setting, • Eager to learn and grow in the role, • A team player who knows how to pitch in wherever needed, • Full-time, Day shift, 8-hour shifts, • No weekends, • No holiday shifts required The pay range for this position is $16 to $18 per hour, based on experience, skills, and credentials.
