Elevating brands, building communities, and driving social impact through the power of storytelling, experiences, and products is the core mission of 11:11 Media. \n \n About the Role \n \n Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis functions at 11:11 Media, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data across all business divisions. The ideal candidate has experience working in a small, high-growth accounting and finance environment, with the ability to build out the appropriate supporting infrastructure, reporting packages, and financial metrics needed to sustain and support the organization. We are looking for a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves on hands-on accounting oversight and partnering with the CFO on forecasts, budgets, long-range planning, and other strategic business matters. This individual will manage a Staff Accountant, own the Company’s forecasting, budgeting, and long- range planning processes, and bring strong financial modeling skills to support key business decisions. 11:11 Media is seeking someone who is highly effective working across a diverse group of constituencies and comfortable in a culture of accountability. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Team Leadership & Transactional Oversight \n\n • Manage and mentor the Staff Accountant, overseeing the quality and timeliness of day-to-day transactional accounting (AP, GL, AR, credit card activity, and bank reconciliations).\n, • Work closely with the outside CPA tax firm, tax reporting agencies, unions, and other specialized areas on reporting and accounting issues.\n, • Oversee coordination of payroll, 1099 reporting, and benefit-related plans.\n\n \n Forecasting, Budgeting & Reporting \n\n • Own the annual budgeting process and development of the Company’s long-range plan (LRP) across all divisions.\n, • Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making.\n, • Prepare monthly consolidated reporting packages and financial filings.\n, • Provide regular, clear, and concise presentations on all aspects of the Company’s financial management to the CFO and senior management to ensure effective communication and enable decision-making.\n, • Proactively provide detailed analysis and recommendations on business and financial performance.\n, • Meet all federal and multi-state tax and regulatory financial reporting requirements on a timely basis, quarterly and annually.\n, • Partner with the CFO on cash management to help maximize the Company’s cash flow position, including weekly reporting on credit lines and incoming/outgoing cash flow.\n\n \n Controls / Processes \n\n • Develop and implement policies, programs, and internal controls that reflect the desired standard of performance for accounting and finance.\n, • Build strong financial controls, reporting systems, and tools that help management and other key executives understand, manage, and grow the business.\n, • Set appropriate delegated approvals and authorities, and monitor compliance.\n, • Maintain general responsibility for safeguarding the assets of 11:11 Media, ensuring adequate internal controls exist to prevent fraud.\n\n \n Accounting & General Ledger Management \n\n • Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle including journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and reclassifications.\n, • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.\n, • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation of all transactions.\n, • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes.\n, • Oversee amortization schedules, participation accruals, and deferred revenue in accordance with GAAP and entertainment industry accounting standards.\n, • Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are adhered to consistently across the organization.\n\n \n What you Bring to the Role \n\n • 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a strong emphasis on financial reporting, close processes, and analysis and prior experience managing/mentoring staff\n, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.\n, • CPA required.\n, • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of accounting software (Oracle NetSuite a plus).\n, • Strong financial modeling skills, with demonstrated experience building budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.\n, • Experience overseeing financial systems that produce useful operating metrics and implementing best practices.\n, • Experience in entertainment, media, brand partnerships, or licensing is a plus\n, • Commitment to excellence in internal/external customer service and team-building; comfortable being both hands-on and macro-strategic as a trusted business advisor.\n, • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization to articulate an understanding of the business through the numbers.\n, • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, concise insights and recommendations.\n, • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders at all levels.\n, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.\n, • Comfortable working in a changing environment requiring the creation or improvement of\n, • accounting and finance processes.\n, • Demonstrated entrepreneurial approach to business process — balancing control with flexibility, procedure with simplicity, and a willingness to innovate.\n, • A strategic thinker who is also comfortable being hands-on and tactical when needed.\n, • Experience working with AI tools is necessary, but expertise not required.\n\n \n Classification, Location, Schedule, Travel, and Physical Requirements \n\n • This is a full-time, exempt position based out of our Beverly Hills office.\n, • We work in office Monday - Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.\n, • The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee, with or without reasonable accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
