Location: Brooklyn, NY Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time — Flexible Schedule: To be discussed based on availability and business needs Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are a growing neighborhood shipping, packaging, and business-services store looking for a reliable, motivated, and versatile person to join our front office team. We are looking for more than someone who simply wants a job. We want someone who is organized, comfortable with technology, willing to learn, takes initiative, and can bring value to a small business environment. The ideal candidate will help with the daily operation of the store while also bringing additional skills that can help us grow. Responsibilities • Assist customers at the front counter, • Receive, label, organize, and prepare packages, • Enter packages and customer information into our computer system, • Prepare packages for carrier pickup, • Print shipping labels and documents, • Make copies, scans, and basic office documents, • Organize inventory, supplies, and the store, • Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, • Answer phones and assist customers with general questions, • Assist with packing and shipping orders, • Help track incoming and outgoing packages, • Learn and operate our shipping/packaging systems, • Assist with general administrative and office tasks, • Help identify ways to make the store more efficient We're Especially Interested In Someone Who Has Additional Skills We would love to meet candidates who have experience or interest in areas such as: Graphic Design • Computer Repair • IT • Technology • Printing • Social Media • Digital Marketing • Website Design • Photography • Small Business • Office Technology If you already operate a small business, freelance, or have an entrepreneurial mindset, tell us about it during your interview.
