KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads., • Being a team player assist and support in all areas of restaurant when needed, • Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries., • Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers, • Completes various reports for records such as; production, usage and waste, • Order product and materials, as necessary, • Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders, • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items, • Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low., • Bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessment., • Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes., • Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner. WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE • Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience, • Ability to work weekends and holidays., • Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling, • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals., • Feedback is a gift! Deli Man We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Deli Man to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing deli foods, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Responsibilities Prepare and serve sandwiches, wraps, salads, cold cuts, cheeses, and other deli items. Slice meats and cheeses according to customer requests. Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly service. Prepare food quickly while maintaining quality and presentation. Operate deli equipment such as slicers, grills, and other kitchen tools safely. Restock deli products, ingredients, and supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and work area. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Check product freshness and properly store food items. Handle cash and credit card transactions when required. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Perform other duties as needed to support daily deli operations. Requirements Previous deli or food service experience preferred. Knowledge of cold cuts, cheeses, sandwiches, and basic food preparation. Good customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies when necessary. Food safety knowledge is a plus.
