Job Description For over 60 years, APEX Technical School has helped students get the training they need to go after the jobs they want through our unique program of both classroom and hands-on instruction. APEX is looking for a highly skilled Construction Instructor to teach hands-on work with a group of students who are eager to learn. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience required. You supply the skills and we supply everything else, even the tools! Requirements • 3+ years hands-on fieldwork experience in the construction trade with experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Electric, • Kitchen and Bathroom remodel experience, • Experience in Framing, Sheetrock, Roofing, and Siding, • Basic branch circuit knowledge, • Experience in installing Plumbing Fixtures and DWV Qualifications • Proficient in reading blueprints, manuals, and electrical schematics, • Highly skilled in working with electrical equipment and hand tools, • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, • High School Diploma or GED Company Benefits • Salary pay, • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, • 403B (Retirement plan), • Extra Shifts available, • Paid Vacation and Holidays Shifts • Full-time Morning-Afternoon ShiftCompany Description Mission: We are committed to improving the economic and social well-being of the impoverished and disadvantaged.
