We are recruiting on behalf of several dental practices accross Leicester seeking a motivated and reliable Trainee Dental Nurse for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in dental nursing in a professional clinical environment, with full workplace support. Key Responsibilities • Assist the dentist during a range of clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including instrument decontamination and sterilisation, • Provide clear pre- and post-treatment support to patients, • Maintain accurate patient records using clinical systems, • Support patient care and wellbeing throughout appointments, • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations, • Assist with appointment coordination and general administration, • Support stock control and ordering of materials Requirements • Strong communication skills and good command of English, • Basic IT skills, • Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment, • Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Training and Development Full training will be provided within the role. The successful candidate will be supported to work towards a recognised dental nursing qualification as part of their employment. This training pathway is designed for individuals who are not currently undertaking a dental nursing qualification.
