Aircraft Mechanic (5 positions available)\n Location: NorwichSalary: £38,608Hours: 37.5 hours per week (seasonal working pattern) The Opportunity\n We're looking for an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join a well established aircraft maintenance organisation supporting base maintenance operations in a regulated Part 145 environment. \n This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable employer offering a strong benefits package, structured working hours, and long term career development. You'll work as part of a skilled maintenance team carrying out aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and airworthiness. Working Hours\n This role operates on a seasonal shift pattern: \n Winter (Mid October to Mid April) \n\n • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:30\n, • Friday: 07:30 to 16:00\n\n Summer (Mid April to Mid October) \n\n • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 14:30\n, • Friday: 07:30 to 14:00\n\n Depending on your start date, summer hours may temporarily be 07:30 to 15:30 to maintain the annual average working week. Responsibilities\n As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will: \n\n • Carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.\n, • Complete maintenance activities safely, efficiently and to the required airworthiness standards.\n, • Ensure all maintenance work is accurately documented.\n, • Follow all company Health & Safety policies and report any hazards, incidents or near misses.\n, • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.\n, • Ensure effective shift handovers.\n, • Maintain and control personal tooling in line with company procedures.\n, • Report airworthiness and safety concerns through the internal reporting system.\n, • Support aircraft maintenance activities at outstations when required.\nWhat We're Looking For\n To be considered, you'll ideally have: \n\n • A recognised Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or Armed Forces aircraft engineering training.\n, • Human Factors training.\n, • Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training.\n, • EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems) training.\n, • Basic understanding of UK CAA/EASA Part 145 requirements and Health & Safety legislation.\n, • Basic IT skills.\n, • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and approved maintenance procedures.\nAbout You\n You'll be someone who: \n\n • Takes pride in producing high quality work.\n, • Communicates effectively with colleagues across the maintenance team.\n, • Works well independently and as part of a team.\n, • Has a proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.\n, • Manages time effectively and works efficiently.\n, • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and accountability.\n, • Is confident raising safety or quality concerns where appropriate.\n, • Understands the importance of delivering work safely, compliantly and on time.\nBenefits\n In return, you'll receive an excellent package including: \n\n • Salary of £38,608\n, • Enhanced sick pay that increases with length of service\n, • Additional annual leave for long service\n, • Health Shield cash plan\n, • Subsidised on site canteen\n, • Stakeholder pension with up to 6% employer contribution\n, • Life assurance\n, • Retail discounts\n, • Cycle to Work scheme\n, • Electric Vehicle scheme\n, • Wellbeing support\n, • Active social club and company events\n, • Long service awards\n, • Free on site parking\n
