At Franco Manca, great pizza starts with great people. For over 15 years we've been making slow-risen sourdough pizza the way it should be: simple ingredients, proper craft and restaurants that feel part of their neighbourhood. We're not a People team sitting far away from the action. We're close to our restaurants, our managers and our teams, and this role is right at the heart of that. Why Franco Manca? We're proud of where we've come from and excited about where we're going. This is an opportunity to join a business with real heritage that's investing in its people, its restaurants and its future. You'll also have space to keep growing yourself, with opportunities to get involved in people projects, leadership development, coaching and wider business initiatives as we continue to evolve. We're looking for a People Partner to work alongside our Operations Managers, helping our restaurant teams thrive. You'll build trusted relationships, coach leaders, support managers through the moments that matter and help create an environment where people can do their best work. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and influence. One day you could be supporting a manager through a complex people matter, the next you'll be using insight to spot trends, shaping practical people plans or helping us develop future leaders. If you enjoy working closely with people, balancing commercial thinking with empathy and making a real difference across a multi-site business, we'd love to hear from you. You'll love this role if · You like being close to the business and out with managers, not hidden behind a desk. · You enjoy coaching leaders, solving problems practically and seeing the difference your work makes. · You want exposure to senior leaders, people strategy and projects that shape how our teams grow. What you'll be doing • Partner with Managers to support our restaurants and people., • Coach and develop managers to build confident, capable teams. · Lead a wide range of employee relations cases with confidence, fairness, consistency and sound judgement. • Use people insight and data to spot trends and improve the employee experience. · Bring strong attention to detail to employee relations, people processes, documentation and follow-up, making sure advice is accurate, consistent and well managed. • Support talent development, succession planning and leadership capability., • Help shape practical people initiatives that support our restaurants today and as we continue to grow., • Work closely with the wider People team to keep things simple, consistent and people focused. We're looking for someone who • Has HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience in hospitality, retail or another fast-paced customer facing multi-site business. · Has strong employee relations knowledge, including confidence managing complex cases and a solid understanding of UK employment law. · Is CIPD qualified or working towards qualification; however, practical, commercial HR experience and strong judgement are just as important. • Builds trust quickly and enjoys coaching and supporting managers., • Brings a practical, solutions-focused approach. · Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting the important things right, especially when handling sensitive people matters. • Understands that every conversation matters., • Loves working with people as much as processes., • Wants to help create workplaces where everyone feels welcome and supported. Our values in this role · Welcome Everybody: You create a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where managers and teams feel listened to, supported and treated fairly. · Love Your Food: You care about the details that make Franco Manca special and help managers build teams who are proud of the food, service and experience they deliver. · Keep It Moving: You work with pace, clarity and common sense, helping managers resolve people matters quickly, fairly and practically. · Put On a Great Show: You understand that great people experiences lead to great restaurant experiences, and you help managers create teams who deliver warm, genuine hospitality every day. What you'll get · Up to £60,000 per year · Annual discretionary bonus scheme · 25 days holiday plus bank holidays · Salary sacrifice schemes, including pension, Cycle to Work and EV car scheme · Season ticket loan · Medicash health cash plan, including dental, glasses, physiotherapy and more · 24/7 virtual GP access, confidential counselling and advice on wellbeing, money, legal and personal matters · Free pizzas and soft drinks on every shift, plus free sourdough bread to cook at home · 50% staff discount when dining in any Franco Manca restaurant · Cashback, online discounts, discounted shopping vouchers, gym and fitness discounts, cinema tickets, family days out and exclusive hospitality perks · Annual social events, incentives and competitions · Up to £500 employee referral scheme, subject to terms and conditions · Development opportunities to support your growth and progression If this sounds like the kind of People Partner role where you could do your best work, we'd love to hear from you. London

Construction Project Manager – Domestic Building Projects £40,000–£130,000 depending on experience and performance + uncapped project commission We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to take ownership of domestic building projects from initial site visit through to successful completion. Our projects include: • Home extensions, • Loft conversions, • Full and partial property renovations, • Internal remodelling and refurbishment Typical contract values range from £40,000 to £250,000, with an average project value of approximately £70,000. This role is designed for someone who wants the independence and earning potential of running projects without having to worry about finding customers, generating leads, running sales calls, issuing contracts, chasing invoices or managing back-office administration. We find the work and run the back office. You deliver the projects. How the role works The company generates enquiries and works with homeowners to understand their plans, budget and project requirements. Once we identify a promising opportunity, you will: 1. Visit the property and meet the client in person., 2. Discuss the proposed work in detail., 3. Assess the site and identify potential risks or challenges., 4. Scope the work and prepare an accurate, commercially viable quotation., 5. Support our internal team with any technical questions required to close the project. Our internal team then takes over the sales process, follows up with the customer, issues contracts and closes the project. Once the project is secured, you take responsibility for delivering it from start to finish. Focus on delivery, not administration We take care of the back office, including: • Lead generation, • Initial customer qualification, • Sales calls and follow-up, • Customer contracts, • Billing, • Invoicing, • Payment collection, • General administration You are not expected to spend your time finding work, chasing paperwork, issuing contracts or collecting money. Your focus is on: • Meeting clients, • Understanding and pricing projects, • Planning the work, • Organising contractors and trades, • Managing day-to-day project delivery, • Controlling costs and programme, • Maintaining a strong relationship with the client, • Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard You look after the contractors, the client and the project. We look after everything around it. Your responsibilities You will be responsible for the successful delivery of your projects, including: • Visiting prospective projects and meeting homeowners, • Understanding the client's requirements, • Accurately scoping and pricing work, • Preparing project budgets and quotations, • Planning the works and creating realistic programmes, • Organising labour, subcontractors, trades and materials, • Ensuring the right contractors are on site at the right time, • Managing and supervising contractors, • Monitoring the quality of work, • Managing project costs, budgets and margins, • Monitoring progress against programme, • Identifying and resolving issues quickly, • Managing variations and changes to scope, • Keeping clients informed throughout the project, • Maintaining a positive client relationship, • Ensuring sites are organised, safe and professionally managed, • Managing snagging and project completion, • Delivering an outcome the client is genuinely happy with You will have considerable freedom over how you organise and deliver your projects. You will not be micromanaged. We care about the outcome: quality, happy clients, projects delivered efficiently and strong commercial performance. What is in it for you? £40,000–£130,000 + uncapped commission Salary will range from £40,000 to £130,000, depending on experience, capability and performance. On top of this, you will receive uncapped commission linked directly to the profit generated by the projects you manage. There is no ceiling on commission. The more work you successfully manage, and the more efficiently and profitably you deliver it, the more you can earn. No need to find your own work One of the biggest challenges of running a construction business is keeping the pipeline full. We take that problem away. Our team generates the enquiries, qualifies customers and runs the sales process. We can generate as much work as you are capable of successfully delivering. Whether you want to manage £60,000 or £6 million of construction work, we want the limiting factor to be your ability to deliver rather than our ability to find projects. No back-office burden Contracts, billing, invoicing, payment collection, sales and administration are handled internally. That allows you to spend your time where you add the most value: on site, with contractors and with clients. Be your own boss The role is largely self-directed. You will have significant freedom over how you organise your time, manage your contractors and deliver your projects. We are looking for someone who wants responsibility rather than someone who needs constant supervision. How the numbers work Our average project is approximately £70,000. A well-run project should achieve at least a 20% profit margin, with 30% or more achievable on strong projects. That means a £70,000 project could generate: 20% Margin30% Margin Contract value £70,000 £70,000 Project profit £14,000 £21,000 Your commission is linked to the profit generated by the projects you manage. A project of this size should take no more than six weeks when properly planned, resourced and managed. There is also no reason an experienced and organised Project Manager cannot oversee multiple projects at the same time. That is where the earning potential becomes significant. Run more projects. Maintain strong margins. Deliver excellent work. Earn more commission. There is no commission cap. By the numbers • Project values: £40,000–£250,000, • Average project: approximately £70,000, • Target minimum project margin: 20%, • Strong projects can achieve approximately 30%+, • Typical £70k project duration: no more than six weeks, • Average conversion following a qualified site visit: approximately 20%, • Approximately five suitable site visits generate one secured project, • Salary: £40,000–£130,000, • Uncapped project commission, • Commission directly linked to project profitability, • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, • As much work available as you are capable of successfully delivering Who we are looking for This role would suit an experienced: • Construction Project Manager, • Contracts Manager, • Construction Manager, • Site Manager, • Residential Project Manager, • General Builder looking to move into project management You should understand both the practical and commercial sides of domestic construction.
