    Job Title: Experienced Caretaker for Residential Building Position Details • Salary: £16.00 per hour, • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, • Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and hard-working Caretaker to ensure our residential building is safe, clean, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and have previous experience in building maintenance and daily groundskeeping. Key Responsibilities • Collecting and removing rubbish and recycling bins from all individual flats., • General cleaning and daily upkeep of all communal areas (hallways, lobbies, stairwells)., • Basic gardening and outdoor maintenance to keep the building's exterior looking neat., • Performing routine building maintenance and minor handyman repairs., • Monitoring building security and promptly reporting any major faults or hazards., • Assisting with other general caretaking and facilities duties as required. Requirements • Proven previous experience working as a caretaker, groundskeeper, or in a similar property maintenance role., • Practical hands-on skills in basic maintenance, cleaning, and gardening., • Physically fit and capable of managing active daily duties, including lifting bins and manual labour., • Highly reliable, punctual, and capable of managing your own daily schedule independently., • Friendly and approachable demeanour for interacting politely with building residents. The successful candidate will support residents with their daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing. You will work as part of a supportive team to provide safe, person-centred care to adults who may have mental health needs, mild learning disabilities or require rehabilitation and daily living support.
