You must be registered as an independent contractor \n \n \n Position Details \n \n\n • Role: Art worker\n, • Start Date: ASAP\n, • Length: 5 days\n, • Schedule: Full-time\n, • Location: Liverpool, UK, 5 days on site\n\n \n \n \n We are looking for a Creative Artworker, ideally with experience in typesetting and layout to join a small Studio within the company. Working with another Creative Artworker, you will produce high quality, print ready artwork either from scratch or utilising existing artwork for a wide-ranged client base including the NHS and large housing associations. We are looking for an individual who is meticulous in their reviewing of artwork but also has a creative flair in design. We must stress, this is not a 100% design-based role, however there will be times when artwork will require to be designed from briefing stage to production. \n \n About the Role \n \n We are looking for a Creative Artworker, ideally with experience in typesetting and layout to join a small Studio within the company. \n \n Responsibilities \n \n \n\n • To provide an efficient and accurate service to both internal and external customers for production of artwork and proofs.\n, • To maintain and improve current working systems and procedures.\n, • Maintenance of computer hardware & software.\n, • Accurate production of artwork and proofs for customers as per written instructions supplied.\n, • Correct supply of high quality, print ready artwork to relevant suppliers.\n, • Advising internal staff on artwork issues and requirements.\n, • General housekeeping of files in correct manner on the artwork server.\n, • Responsible use of the companies network, internet and email systems.\n, • Maintain security of data held by company.\n\n \n Required Skills \n \n \n\n • Ability to set artwork using Creative Suite based on written instructions or scanned images.\n, • Previous experience of utilising Creative Suite (this includes: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat).\n, • Previous experience of designing artwork for both digital and/or print based on brand guidelines.\n, • Previous experience of using Microsoft Suite (This includes: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher).\n, • Knowledge of CMYK/RGB colouring and how to amend based on type of artwork (digital or print).\n, • Good communication with relevant people regarding completion of artwork.\n, • Good time-management and the ability to be self-proficient.\n, • Ability to work to tight deadlines.\n, • Ability to check over artwork before production (colouring, fonts, typos etc.).\n, • Strong eye for detail and accuracy.\n, • Competent with Mac Os.\n\n
