Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative / Wood Panel Picker to join their busy warehouse team in Wakefield. Hours: Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 11:59pm Temporary - Permanent Key Responsibilities Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move timber and wood panel products safely around the warehouse. Picking customer orders accurately using pick sheets and warehouse systems. Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently. Handling large sheet materials and timber products. Carrying out stock movements and replenishment. Checking products for quality and reporting any damage. Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities. Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety procedures. Working as part of a close-knit warehouse team to meet daily customer deadlines. Skills: Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent). Previous warehouse experience. Experience handling timber, wood panels or other bulky materials would be highly advantageous. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work safely in a busy warehouse environment. Reliable, hardworking and a positive team player. Comfortable with manual handling duties as part of the role

Novara People are recruiting for an FLT Driver / Laminate Picker to join a well-established and busy distribution business based in Tingley, WF3. Our client is a major supplier of timber, panels, laminates and decorative surface products, supplying customers across the construction, manufacturing and interiors industries. This is a hybrid role combining FLT driving with order picking, so we're looking for someone who is happy to be hands-on rather than spending the full shift on a forklift. Due to the large product range, there is a 3–6 month training period on the day shift before moving permanently onto nights. You'll be trained on the different products, picking processes, locations and systems to ensure you're fully confident before moving onto the night shift. Pay rise when taken perm.
