    Pay: £12.71 per hour Job Description: Earl's Court Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time and Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming and forward thinking Practice team on a full-time and part-time basis. Your normal pattern of working will be Monday - Friday, within the hours of 8am-6:30pm. Interested applicants must have primary care and SystmOne experience. Key Responsibilities include: • Greeting and assisting patients at the reception desk, • Managing appointments, cancellations and patients enquiries, • Answering telephone calls and directing queries appropriately, • Processing repeat prescription requests, • Supporting the administrative and clinical team with day-to-day tasks, • Maintaining confidentially and ensuring accurate record- keeping, • Processing ingoing and outgoing patient records This is a patient facing role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, efficient approach to working in a fast paced environment. WORK Your duties as a Main Receptionist would include: • Checking in/out guests and dealing with their queries, • Taking payments, • Processing bookings, • Checking and correcting any room/bed availability errors, • Managing the housekeeping team, • Ensuring the smooth and optimal functioning of the hostel You'd be doing 4 night shifts per week 7pm-7am. This is a 12 month course which we will pay for and will pay you to do 3 hours study per week – outside of your working hours. Remuneration Package For this role we offer a comprehensive live-in package which allows travellers to parachute easily into London life comprising: • Starting pay will be at least the minimum wage for an apprentice and will be dependent on your skills and experience. You'll make friends for life in the hostel too.
