Nursery Senior Deputy Manager Location: Yate Salary: £33,000 per annum Are you an experienced Room Leader, Third in Charge or Deputy Manager who feels ready for more? This is an exciting time to join a thriving nursery as it prepares to open a brand-new site nearby. The move will provide the team and children with fantastic new facilities and a larger, purpose-designed space in which to learn, play and grow. Our client is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Nursery Senior Deputy Manager to work closely with the Nursery Manager and help lead a passionate Early Years team. You don’t necessarily need to be an established Deputy Manager - a strong Room Leader with leadership experience and the ambition to progress would be warmly welcomed. Nursery Senior Deputy Manager - What’s on Offer? • Salary of £33,000 per annum, • The opportunity to be part of an exciting new nursery opening, • Brand-new facilities and a larger nursery environment, • Excellent training and professional development, • Genuine opportunities for career progression, • A supportive and collaborative leadership team, • The opportunity to influence nursery standards and culture Nursery Senior Deputy Manager - The Role: As Nursery Senior Deputy Manager, you will: • Support the Nursery Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the setting, • Lead, motivate and support the nursery team, • Step into the Acting Manager role when required, • Mentor and supervise practitioners, providing constructive feedback and guidance, • Assist with staff rotas, training requirements and performance reviews, • Help maintain consistently high standards of care, learning and safeguarding, • Support the nursery in meeting EYFS and Ofsted requirements, • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues, • Support the nursery team through the transition into the new setting Nursery Senior Deputy Manager - What We’re Looking For: • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or higher, • Experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager or in a similar leadership position, • Confidence supporting and developing nursery staff, • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements, • Excellent communication and organisational skills, • A positive, hands-on approach to leadership, • A genuine passion for helping children and Early Years teams thrive Nursery Senior Deputy Manager - Ready for Your Next Step?
