Service Desk Engineer \n \n Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm \n Office based in Orpington \n Competitive Salary \n \n Our client is looking for a service desk engineer to join their team. they are looking for an enthusiastic and technically proficient individual to be a part of a growing department. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding their customers through complex technical issues, resolving fault tickets, and ensuring their clients receive top-notch support. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of platforms and systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Google Workspace, Office 365, and cloud Wi-Fi solutions. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Customer Support: Provide expert guidance to customers and resolve complex fault tickets within SLAs, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to timelines.\n, • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, networks, Wi-Fi, and cloud systems.\n, • Office 365 and Google Workspace Administration: Support the multiple customers that use Office 365 and Google Workspace within their ecosystem for email and collaboration tools.\n, • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers to understand and document their technical requirements, through phone or Teams meetings.\n, • Vendor Liaison: Work with external vendors to resolve technical queries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.\n\n \n Skills and Experience \n We’re looking for someone who is: \n\n • Passionate About IT: A genuine interest in technology and problem-solving.\n, • Technically Proficient: Knowledge and experience with:\n\n \n\n • Workstations: Windows 10, Windows 11\n, • Google Workspace administration\n, • Cloud Wi-Fi platform administration\n, • Apple Mac platforms and Mac OS\n, • IT-focused ticketing systems\n, • Networking fundamentals\n, • Windows Servers (full range)\n, • Office 365 and SharePoint\n\n, • Excellent Communicator: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical users. \n • People-Oriented: A customer-focused mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile to resolve client issues. \n • Organised and Multi-Tasking: Able to manage tight deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work effectively under pressure. \n • Detail-Oriented and Creative: Pays close attention to detail, thinks outside the box, and is open to challenging the status quo. \n \n Preferred Qualifications: \n While not required, the following certifications are highly desirable: \n • CompTIA Network+ \n • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) \n • Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102) \n \n If you're passionate about IT, love solving technical challenges, and are eager to make an impact in a company that values customer service, innovation, and collaboration, we would love to hear from you! \n *Braundton Consulting is a recruitment agency recruiting on behalf of a customer.
