The organisation's homes are proudly rated Good in all areas by Ofsted and they are members of the Community of Communities quality network.This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader to take responsibility for a new service and help establish a positive culture focused on achieving outstanding outcomes for the young people in its care.The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the overall leadership and development of the home, ensuring children receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care.You will:Lead the development and operation of a brand-new 3-bed therapeutic SEMH homeBuild and maintain a positive, nurturing and child-centred cultureLead, support and develop the staff teamEnsure high standards of safeguarding and care are maintainedEnsure the home operates in line with Ofsted requirements and relevant regulationsPromote positive outcomes for children and young peopleWork closely with the wider leadership and therapeutic teamsTake part in a 1 in 10 on-call rota, with additional payment providedContribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the serviceAbout YouWe're looking for an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.You will ideally have:Previous management experience within residential childcareA strong understanding of children's residential care and safeguardingExperience leading and developing teamsA genuine commitment to therapeutic and child-centred practiceStrong leadership, communication and organisational skillsA passion for creating environments where young people can feel safe, valued and supportedA Level 5 qualification is desirable, although support towards achieving the qualification is available where required.At RJS Resourcing, we partner with values-driven children's home providers across the UK and work on a continuous stream of exciting opportunities within residential childcare.
