The role will be accountable for establishing and maintaining the standards, governance, controls and quality assurance arrangements through which GBE monitors the performance, risk and value of its energy-project investments after financial close. The postholder will act as GBE's portfolio management subject-matter lead for energy-project investments, working across Investment, Finance, Risk, Legal, Strategy and Delivery teams to ensure consistent and decision-useful oversight of investments throughout construction, operation, intervention and exit. The postholder will own the energy-project portfolio monitoring framework and ensure that project performance is assessed consistently against approved investment cases, conditions of GBE's finance, contractual rights, strategic objectives and GBE's risk appetite. They will provide technical leadership on the interpretation of portfolio information, challenge the quality and completeness of monitoring outputs, and recommend escalation or intervention where required.
