The e-Discovery Lead Analyst is responsible for leading the delivery of e-discovery services while acting as a subject matter expert (SME) across the full e-discovery lifecycle. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring high-quality, defensible, and efficient delivery of e-discovery projects. This position has line management responsibility for the e-discovery analyst team, providing direction, mentoring, and oversight of workloads, performance, and development. The role ensures that projects are delivered in line with legal, regulatory, and client requirements, while maintaining best practice and technical excellence. In addition, the e-Discovery Lead Analyst supports pre‑sales activity by providing technical input into solution design, scoping, and client engagements. Working closely with Business Development and clients, the role helps shape solutions, contribute to bids and proposals, and ensure that delivery approaches are aligned with client needs and technical feasibility. • Act as the subject matter expert across the e-discovery lifecycle (collection, processing, review, analysis, production), • Lead complex and high-risk e-discovery projects, • Ensure best practice, defensibility, and quality assurance across all deliverables, • Provide expert guidance on workflows, data handling, and platform usage (e.g. Relativity), • Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and legal requirements, • Line manage the e-discovery analyst team, including performance management, development, and mentoring, • Allocate resources and manage team workloads across multiple projects, • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning, • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members, • Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and quality-focused team environment, • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, • Act as escalation point for complex technical or delivery issues, • Ensure accurate scoping, effort estimation, and resource planning, • Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for defensibility, • Support Business Development in pre‑sales engagement, • Provide technical input into proposals, bids, and client presentations, • Assist in scoping solutions, defining workflows, and estimating effort, • Participate in client meetings to provide technical expertise and credibility, • Ensure proposed solutions are realistic, scalable, and aligned with delivery capability, • Act as a senior technical contact for clients during project delivery, • Provide guidance and recommendations on e-discovery strategy and best practice, • Build trusted relationships with legal teams, in‑house counsel, and stakeholders, • Support client training and enablement where required, • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices, • Conduct quality checks and validation across project outputs, • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and workflows Support development of internal knowledge sharing and documentation • Proven experience in e-discovery, with strong hands‑on expertise across the full lifecycle, • Extensive experience using Relativity (RelativityOne), • Ability to act as a technical SME and provide guidance on complex matters, • Experience managing and delivering multiple e-discovery projects concurrently, • Prior experience leading or mentoring teams, with line management responsibility preferred, • Strong understanding of legal processes, litigation support, and regulatory requirements, • Experience in data handling, processing, review workflows, and productions, • Ability to scope projects and provide accurate effort estimations, • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) or other Relativity certifications, • Experience supporting pre‑sales, bids, or client proposals, • Knowledge of complementary tools (e.g. Nuix, Reveal, Everlaw, etc.), • Understanding of digital forensics and its integration with e-discovery, • Experience working with law firms, corporate legal teams, or public sector clients, • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR), • Project management experience or certification, • Strong leadership and team development mindset, • Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and defensibility, • Proactive and solutions-focused, • Confident communicator and trusted advisor to client, • Calm under pressure and able to manage complex, high-risk matters, • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills, • Collaborative and able to work cross‑functionally, • Commercially aware, with an understanding of client and business needs, • Continuous learner with a passion for technology and best practice, • Successful delivery of e-discovery projects (time, quality, budget), • Team performance, development, and retention, • Quality and defensibility of outputs, • Client satisfaction and feedback, • Contribution to pre‑sales success and bid quality, • Efficiency improvements and process optimisation, • Effective resource utilisation and workload management #J-18808-Ljbffr
