Senior RF Engineer \n Location: North East EnglandSalary: Competitive + Benefits \n I am currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Radio Frequency Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation developing advanced RF and microwave technologies for telecommunications, defence and high-tech applications. \n This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative products from concept through to production within a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering environment. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Design and develop RF/mmWave circuits, modules and systems.\n, • Take ownership of RF specifications, simulation, design verification and testing activities.\n, • Conduct system line-up, tolerance and yield analysis.\n, • Support component, IC and MMIC selection.\n, • Work closely with Mechanical, Electronics, PCB Layout, Manufacturing and Test teams.\n, • Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.\n, • Support product introduction, fault finding and production troubleshooting.\n, • Ensure designs meet technical, quality, cost and delivery requirements.\n\n Requirements \n\n • Degree-qualified in RF, Microwave, Electronics, Communications Engineering or a related discipline.\n, • Proven experience in RF or microwave design.\n, • Experience using RF design tools such as ADS, CST, Microwave Office or EMPro.\n, • Strong understanding of RF system design, simulation and analysis.\n, • Experience with amplifier, transceiver, filter, module or subsystem design.\n, • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical engineering mindset.\n, • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.\n\n Desirable Experience \n\n • Telecommunications, Defence, Aerospace or Advanced Technology sectors.\n, • Design for manufacture and production support.\n, • RF/mmWave technologies and high-frequency system integration.\n\n Apply \n For a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity, please contact: \n Keith Ogilvie
