About The Role: We're looking for a proactive Driver Quality Coordinator to keep our warehouse operations running smoothly and ensure every customer receives their appliance on time. You'll take ownership of preparing delivery and installation runs each morning, monitoring progress throughout the day, and resolving any issues quickly and professionally. This is a hands-on role where you'll support our self-loading depot, ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant, and provide ongoing assistance to our Drivers, Quality, and People teams. • Salary: From £30,000.00 to £32,000.00 per annum (depending on experience), • Hours:40 hours per week, • Start and finish time: Flexible, • Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, • Job Type: Full time and permanent, • Location: Compound 56, Greendale Business Park,Woodbury,Salterton, EX5 1EW Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing: • Prepare and oversee daily delivery and installation runs to ensure timely dispatch., • Monitor operations throughout the day, resolving issues promptly to maintain service standards., • Check all vehicles leaving the depot for security, legality, and compliance with transport legislation., • Complete daily in-house reports for the Depot Manager., • Support and guide drivers, handling queries professionally and efficiently., • Conduct alcohol testing when required and ensure compliance with company policies., • Manage transhipping and reloads to keep operations flowing smoothly., • Debrief vehicles returning from delivery and installation runs, addressing any issues or damages. A Few Things About You: • Strong understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations., • Ability to build positive relationships under pressure and maintain professionalism., • Confident decision-making skills when the Depot Manager is unavailable., • Quick problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing situations., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Role summary: To support the Shift Manager in completion of daily de-briefs to ensure high standards of Customer service and courier compliance with all operational processes. Key responsibilities • Daily completion of De-brief ensuring any service issues/failures are logged & communicated to Customer service, management team., • Ensuring all driver non-compliances are investigated & escalated accordingly., • Use of the company software to monitor performance supporting with on the road issues as required., • Ensuring all returned items are returned as per SOP., • Completion of Ad-hoc de-briefs as & when required., • Daily download of handheld scanners ensuring the condition of the any faults are reported., • All returns are coded correctly., • Completion of Ad-hoc vehicle audits., • POD & address data entry. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (4o4o) Working Hours: Days or Nights Role Responsibilities: • Safely and professionally transport customers' waste in accordance with company and legal requirements., • Complete all work-related paperwork fully and accurately, handing it in at the end of each shift., • Carry out thorough vehicle checks before and after shifts to ensure compliance and safety., • Drive in line with Road Traffic Law, the Highway Code, and ADR regulations at all times., • Report any vehicle defects promptly to your line manager or shift supervisor., • Adhere to all site rules, including those at customer locations., • Wear all required PPE at all times., • Correctly complete consignment notes and other transport documentation., • Undertake overnights and changeovers across the UK as part of the tramper role. Essential Skills: Happy to Tramp Good communication skills Correct Licence for the type of vehicle required to drive HGV C+E Valid CPC and Digital tachograph cards Understanding of EU Driver & Working time laws Desirable Skills: ADR qualified (training can be provided) Experience in handling waste (Healthcare & Hazardous waste desirable) Use of handheld devices e.g., PDA or similar We expect from you to Be accountable, Drive results, Embrace Change, and high levels of Collaboration!
