Project Delivery Manager - Infrastructure & Platform Delivery Location – Cheltenham (hybrid)Salary - £85,000 - £90,000 + DV Bonus & excellent benefits.Security Clearance - eDV Are you an experienced Delivery Manager looking to lead high-impact platform delivery for a major technology and engineering organisation? The RoleAs Delivery Manager, youll report into a Portfolio Manager and take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects and workstreams within a platforms team. Youll plan, mobilise, manage and control delivery in line with client expectations, contractual obligations and quality standards, leading project teams, coordinating stakeholders, and keeping delivery on track from mobilisation through to completion.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on managing competing priorities, evaluating risk, and driving corrective action to protect delivery performance, while also mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues. What Youll Be DoingPlan, manage and deliver assigned projects/workstreams against agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality and governance requirementsCoordinate project teams and resources, ensuring roles, priorities and dependencies are clearly understoodMonitor progress, manage risks/issues/dependencies/change control, and take corrective action to protect deliveryOwn project reporting, documentation, forecasts, dashboards and governance packsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholdersLead project meetings, reviews and governance forums, capturing and progressing actions and escalationsEnsure delivery activity complies with organisational standards and ways of workingSupport mobilisation and continuous improvement, sharing delivery expertise and lessons learnedProvide day-to-day direction and support to project teams and junior staff What Were Looking ForEssential:Solid working knowledge of project management principles, governance, lifecycle models, planning, budgeting, risk/issue management, change control, reporting and qualityProven experience leading infrastructure and/or platform deliveries, with accountability for time, cost, scope and qualityStrong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skillsConfident written and verbal communicator, able to tailor messaging across audiencesHighly competent in Microsoft Office, JIRA and ConfluenceExperience working within a governed, quality-driven or highly technical delivery environmentDesirable:Practitioner-level qualification: APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM Practitioner, or equivalentMembership of a recognised professional body (e.g. APM) or evidence of ongoing CPD in project delivery Why ApplyThis role offers the chance to lead meaningful delivery within a large-scale, technically complex environment, with genuine scope to shape governance, ways of working and delivery capability — plus support for your own professional development along the way.
