    Restaurant Administrator – Carmelina’s Location: Central London Employment: Full-time Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Carmelina’s is looking for a highly organised, hands-on Restaurant Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our restaurant operation. This is a varied role combining restaurant administration, payroll support, employee records, compliance documentation, goods-receiving checks and back-of-house systems. Key Responsibilities Restaurant Administration & HR • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and onboarding documentation within the company systems., • Keep staff files organised and up to date., • Support new starter administration and employment documentation., • Maintain records relating to holidays, absences, training and other employee information., • Support management with general restaurant administration, reports and documentation. Payroll & Staff Payments • Prepare and maintain accurate monthly payroll information., • Check hours, salaries, holidays, absences and authorised adjustments., • Produce or coordinate employee payslips., • Assist with monthly staff payments and payroll records., • Liaise with management/accounting support where required. Tronc Administration • Maintain accurate Tronc records and employee allocation information., • Prepare monthly Tronc information for payroll., • Process Tronc payments in line with the Company’s Tronc Policy., • Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of all Tronc-related information. Goods Receiving & Deliveries • Check deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes., • Confirm that the correct products and quantities have been delivered., • Identify and report missing, incorrect, damaged or additional items., • Communicate discrepancies to the relevant manager or supplier., • Maintain accurate delivery records. Food Safety, Health & Safety & Compliance • Maintain and organise restaurant compliance records., • Keep food safety and health & safety documentation up to date., • Assist management with internal and external audit preparation., • Maintain training certificates, supplier documentation, cleaning records and other required compliance files., • Follow up outstanding compliance actions. Back of House Systems & Software • Help build, maintain and organise the restaurant’s back-of-house systems., • Work confidently with platforms such as MarketMan, 7shifts and Toast., • Keep product, supplier, stock, staff and operational information accurate and up to date., • Support managers with system setup, reporting, data entry and daily administration., • Help ensure information across the different systems is consistent and reliable. What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in restaurant, hotel or hospitality administration is highly desirable., • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail., • Experience with payroll, employee records or HR administration is an advantage., • Confident using hospitality software and back-of-house systems., • Experience with MarketMan, 7shifts and Toast is highly desirable., • Good numerical skills and confidence checking invoices, hours and payments., • Understanding of food safety and health & safety documentation., • Confident communicating with suppliers, employees and managers., • Reliable, proactive and able to work independently., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Person We’re looking for someone who is organised, accurate, proactive and dependable, with a strong understanding of hospitality operations. You’ll be an important link between management, payroll, employees, suppliers and the restaurant systems, helping to make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so the operational team can focus on our guests.
