London
Reporting to: Lisa Eldridge, Creative Director \n Location: London \n Type: Full-time, permanent \n \n The opportunity \n \n Lisa Eldridge is one of the most respected names in beauty - a make-up artist, educator and creative force who has built a global community through decades of artistry and authentic storytelling. As the brand enters its next phase of growth, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Social to help bring that vision to life at scale, and to keep it feeling completely current every single day. \n \n This is a rare and specific role. Lisa is the creative director and the face of the brand - her voice, her aesthetic and her point of view are what the audience comes for. The Head of Social Content is not here to bring their own creative vision; they are here to understand Lisa’s vision deeply and execute it with consistency, pace and craft - across quarterly campaigns and this morning’s Instagram/TikTok in equal measure. The best person for this role will take enormous pride in that distinction. \n \n This role combines strategic ownership of the full content ecosystem with hands-on, up-to-the-minute fluency in social and digital culture. You will work in close daily partnership with Lisa, translating her direction into briefs, production plans and content output across four distinct pillars - and, unlike a purely strategic leadership role, you will also personally shape, create and post the day-to-day social content yourself. \n \n The content ecosystem you will own \n \n The Lisa Eldridge content world is structured around four pillars, each operating at a different cadence. You will hold strategic responsibility for all four - and personally direct the day-to-day execution of the two fastest-moving ones. \n \n House of Eldridge Long-from \n \n The editorial soul of the brand. Long-form YouTube content, podcast series, tutorials, interviews and the wider cultural world that informs Lisa’s vision. Story-led, not product-led. You will translate Lisa’s editorial direction into a quarterly content calendar and ensure each piece is produced to the standard she has set. \n \n House of Eldridge Social \n \n Channel-native content that translates the Lisa Eldridge world into Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Redbook and emerging platforms. You will personally write the weekly brief, create or commission platform-specific edits, manage community engagement and spot trends worth participating in - in line with Lisa’s overall creative intent, and always feeling genuine rather than manufactured. \n \n Brand-related Content \n \n Product-led storytelling at its most elevated. Lisa-led tutorials, campaign imagery, e-commerce photography and visual merchandising content. You will manage the brief-to-delivery process, working closely with Lisa on creative direction at every stage. \n \n What you will do \n \n Strategy & leadership \n \n\n • Work in close daily partnership with Lisa, taking direction clearly and translating it into executable plans across all four content pillars\n, • Own the monthly and quarterly content planning process, bringing drafts to Lisa for review and refining them based on her feedback before production begins\n, • Lead the weekly alignment meeting and monthly planning cycle, keeping the wider team informed and on track\n, • Brief and manage the Production Manager on shoot schedules, crew, post-production pipelines and asset delivery\n, • Flag decisions that require Lisa’s input early - this role defaults to bringing her in rather than assuming\n, • Ensure content created for one pillar is adapted thoughtfully across others, maximising the value of every shoot and production day\n, • Maintain the quality and consistency of the brand’s output, holding it to Lisa’s standards across every pillar and every platform\n\n \n Social & digital execution \n \n\n • Personally write and deliver the weekly organic social brief, covering daily output across all platforms, broken down by channel\n, • Create or commission platform-specific edits - TikTok cuts, Reels, carousels, stories - adapted from long-form content or originated for social\n, • Track trends across Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms in real time, and act on relevant opportunities within hours, not weeks\n, • Partner with the Customer Service team to understand community engagement and identify conversation-worthy moments\n, • Participate in reactive and cultural moments in a way that feels on-brand and never opportunistic\n\n \n Content planning & collaboration \n \n\n • Identify moments where long-form House of Eldridge or Brand Content can be repurposed for social or paid, maximising the value of every shoot\n, • Feed weekly performance insights from organic and paid social back into the monthly and quarterly planning process\n, • Work with the Production Manager to ensure social edits are scheduled into the production pipeline alongside longer-lead content\n\n \n Who you are \n \n You have a genuine love of beauty, culture and storytelling - and a deep respect for what Lisa has built. You are not looking to put your own stamp on the brand; you are energised by the challenge of understanding someone else’s creative vision and delivering it at its best, across every timeframe from a quarterly campaign to this afternoon’s TikTok. You are organised, communicative and calm at the strategic level, and fast, self-directed and platform-fluent at the executional level - and you genuinely enjoy operating in both modes. \n \n Essential \n \n\n • Experience in a content, editorial or creative production leadership role - ideally within beauty, fashion, luxury or a closely adjacent world\n, • A demonstrable track record of building and executing content strategy across multiple channels simultaneously, working closely with a creative lead or founder\n, • Genuine, current fluency in social platforms yourself - proven experience designing and managing content across YouTube/Instagram/TikTok, with a portfolio of platform-native work you personally made or directed, not brand content that was simply posted there\n, • Deep understanding of both long-form editorial content and short-form social formats - and what makes each work\n, • Confident, current video editing skills - you can cut a Reel or TikTok yourself, quickly and to a high standard\n, • Experience briefing and managing production teams, photographers, directors and editors\n, • Exceptional written and verbal communication - you can take creative direction and translate it into a clear brief, and you can personally write captions, hooks and scripts that are sharp, warm and on-brand\n, • Calm, organised and reliable at the strategic level; fast and self-directed at the executional level - Lisa and the team can depend on you in both modes without needing to be chased\n, • A genuine appreciation for the Lisa Eldridge world: artistry, education, authenticity and restraint\n\n \n Highly desirable \n \n\n • Experience working directly with a founder or creative director as the named face of a brand, in a role that required close creative collaboration rather than independent authority\n, • Hands-on experience adapting organic content for paid media - cutdowns, hook variations and short-form performance creative\n, • Experience operating across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Redbook and other emerging platforms with a nuanced understanding of each\n, • Experience using analytics tools to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable creative decisions\n, • An eye for visual quality - you notice when something looks slightly off and you care enough to fix it\n\n
